Canberra Theatre Centre in association with the Royal Military College (RMC) host Music At Midday concerts six times a year, with proceeds supporting many local charities. This celebration of the Big Band sound has grown from its humble beginnings and now attracts hundreds of Canberra residents at each performance.

The lunch time concert, held at 12pm, showcases the talents of the RMC Band and presented with Canberra Theatre Centre provides an opportunity to give something back to the community. Entry to the concerts is by gold coin donation, with all proceeds going to a local charity.

Past charities include Friends of the Brain Injured, Alzheimer’s Association, Make A Wish Foundation, Canberra Region Kidney Support Group, Carer’s Association of ACT, Canberra Schizophrenia Fellowship, Marymead Child and Family Centre, The Smith Family, Legacy Club of Canberra, The Cancer Council ACT, Sudden Infant Death Association, Camp Quality, The Salvation Army, National Brain Injury Foundation, Action for Autism, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Dragons Abreast (ACT Region), plus many more.
