Access Bookings

Page content:

The Canberra Theatre Centre believes that everyone should be able to enjoy live performance.

This site has been specifically designed to be compatible with screen readers.

The Canberra Theatre offers a number of access and special assistance services, including audio described performances, tactile tours, live captioning, FM radio assistance hearing loop, mobility assistance, special seating requests and companion cards.

The Playhouse and Canberra Theatre need to have seats removed to satisfactorily accommodate wheelchair bookings. In order to maximise access for patrons with disabilities and their accompanying guests we request patrons who book in this area collect their tickets on the day of the performance. At the time of purchase a confirmation letter will be emailed or posted via regular mail to patrons with details of their booking. When attending the performance patrons can collect their tickets from the Box Office. Staff will give priority to people with disabilities who come to the box office for ticket collection.

Access services to performances sold by Canberra Ticketing can vary from venue to venue. Before booking your ticket contact Canberra Ticketing (02) 6275 2700 or the National Relay Service: www.relayservice.com.au to discuss your access requirements before booking your ticket.

Canberra Ticketing and the Canberra Theatre Centre would like to thank IRT for their support in helping us to provide these services.
