Synopsis

16–19 May 2018

Canberra Grammar School is proud to continue its long-standing relationship with the Canberra Theatre Centre by bringing Gilbert & Sullivan’s perennial favourite The Pirates of Penzance to The Playhouse, featuring a rollicking band of pirates, a force of undaunted men in blue, a bevy of daughters and their friends, and a Major-General with a chequered parental past. This production of Pirates will rekindle fond memories for those who have already lived and breathed the show, and spark a fascinating interest for those who are about to launch into the topsy-turvy world that is G&S.
