Confluence Festival of India is once again arriving in Canberra over one weekend on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October 2017! Spanning across three months in five cities, this time locals are in for a mix of Bollywood dance workshop which proved to be hugely popular last year and Kutle Khan Band offering vibrant and energetic Rajasthani Folk Music.

The Canberra leg of the festival will kick off with a FREE Bollywood dance workshop, full of the infectious energy of Bollywood presented to an audience of all ages. This will kick off at 4pm and will be held in the Canberra Theatre Centre Forecourt on Saturday 14 October 2017.

The Bollywood workshop will be followed by a performance by Kutle Khan Project at 7pm in the Canberra Theatre. A multi-talented folk musician, along with his band of musicians will perform the rich rhythms of Rajasthani folk blended with contemporary musical traditions.

To finish the festival, we will celebrate Diwali (Festival of Lights) with our Indian community on Sunday 15 October.

Concession prices not available for all shows.
