Canberra Theatre Centre wants your visit to be as enjoyable as possible. In order to facilitate a great night at the theatre, the following patron services are provided:
Food and drink at The Link
There is a bar in The Link foyer. Each bar is open an hour before the start of every performance and during any interval. The bar serves a range of wine, beer, soft drink, tea and coffee. Confectionery is also available. You can purchase your drinks at the bar and pay by credit or eftpos.
On busy nights when both venues are in use the bar can at times get a little crowded. Patrons can pre-order their drinks for interval at the bar to avoid the rush. In most cases only plastic cups of drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol) and food purchased from The Link bar are permitted inside the auditorium.
Cloaking
Complimentary cloaking service is back!!
This service will be available an hour prior to each performance and patrons are encouraged to cloak items such as bulky coats, umbrellas, and large bags.
Admission
Theatre doors open 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the performance. Late arrivals will be seated at the discretion of the presenting company’s stage management, so as not to disturb the audience and performers. Please be aware that some shows may have long lock-outs for late-comers (such as not until interval) and in rare cases you may be locked out of the entire performance. There are no refunds given for late-comers who may miss a performance.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all venues of Canberra Theatre Centre.

All public restrooms in Canberra Theatre Centre provide facilities for patrons with disabilities.
Catering
Canberra Theatre Centre offers an extensive range of catering opportunities before, at interval and after performances. Theatre facilities and catering packages are available at other times by arrangement, including cocktail receptions, dinner functions, on stage functions, and receptions in the foyers and The Courtyard Studio.
